Are you going to see the exhibition? If so, could you snap a few pictures of the building? John St. has had some good years but mostly bad. (Farley Mowat lived there!)

  2. If the snow is not too heavy and my work slows down I may make the trek to Montreal and stop in Port Hope on the way. If so I'll make sure to take some photos.

Thanks. Is your work setting up that office for a new MP? Must have been a by-election. I thought you were retired (or just retreaded?). Speaking of snow ... did you get that big dump?

  4. Malcolm Allen was elected in the last general election. We're still getting three offices equipped and staffed. I'm working full time right now and hopefully moving to part time in the new year.

Since our MP was re-elected I already forgot about the "general". If I had worked it (especially as hard as you did) it would not seem as remote. Even for a west coaster. Just not having to listen to those assholes (one with last nights lipstick stain and 'de udder' whose voice grated in either official language) has given me relief. What a way to spoil Thanksgiving! Sorry for my temporary ignorance. Our MP's only have one office, is that another example of east-west inequality???

  6. We get three offices because our riding sprawls across 5 municipalities.
