Tintin remains a symbol of childhood for generations of readers, a paragon of virtue who continues to shape moral sensibilities all over the world. So it's quite a shock to see Tintin sexually assaulting a panicked-looking Snowy. Or passed out on a bench in a drunken stupor, a puddle of sick by his feet.
