Portraits of celebrities like Mike Tyson, Sandra Bullock, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber are appearing on walls in Toronto's Bloorcourt neighbourhood. They are actually photos of life-like wax figures.Toronto photographer Peter Andrew's Uncanny Valley project takes its name from a phenomenon wherein a humanoid or computer-generated figure is close enough to being realistically human that it arouses unease in the viewer.
