Story of Amsterdam’s Growth Told In Delft Tile

Taking inspiration from 18th century Rotterdam tile painter Cornelis Boumeester, design firm Benthem Crouwell used 80,000 Delft blue tiles to paint a picture of a fleet of ships in a 361-foot tunnel that connects Amsterdam's historic centre with its revitalized industrial district.
It symbolizes the growth and change the city has experienced over the past few centuries.
