Ellis Island Virtual Tour



Ellis Island was America's busiest immigration inspection station from 1892 to 1954 with 12 million immigrants from the far corners of the world passing through its halls during that period. Now the National Park Service Heritage Documentation Program has launched a virtual tour of Ellis Island to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act.
