Scarfolk Council: "Welcome Refugees" Poster (1970)

Scarfolk Council is Richard Littler's blog about a town in North West England that got stuck in 1979. It is a satire not only of that decade but also of contemporary events. Here is his post about refugees, a topic that has recently risen to the top of people's minds in light of recent tragedies.

When refugees finally arrived in Scarfolk, they were met by the poster above, which was clearly intended to deter them even before they passed through customs and immigration.
