At last Barbie will be able to step out in comfort. After 5 decades of tottering around on sky-high heels Barbie has had enough of suffering for fashion and will wear flats now and again. She's not trading in the Manolos just yet but the doll's latest "Fashionista” line features “articulated ankles” that can adjust for both high heels and flat-soled shoes. Frankly I don't know how she did it for so long!
