Human eight-bit video
They erected a scaffolding and enlisted 24 friends to animate the song with flash cards and other effects. The result is a homage to video games like Pong, Space Invaders and even Guitar Hero.According to information posted on the MuchMusic website, the video involved 420 sequences and was completed in one take (albeit, with lots of practice runs.)
