Patty Carroll's Flora and Fauxna
Patty Carroll is known for her Anonymous Women photographs. In her Flora and Fauxna series she has replaced the human mannequins and models with birds. For birds camouflage is a means of survival. By taking the place of the female figures in Anonymous Women the birds symbolize the obsession with transforming one's home into a cage of torment.
