New Sculptural Wine Bottle For Stratus Vineyards

The philosophy of Niagara on the Lake winery Stratus Vineyards is ‘form followed by function’. The form of their innovative Decant wine bottle was inspired by the layers of clay, granite and limestone, that are in the soil where their grapes are grown. A design collaboration between Stratus Vineyards and Global Industrial Designer Karim Rashid, it represents how their unfiltered Cabernet Franc wine is uniquely grown at Stratus Vineyards. The winery is just down the road from me and I'm sure that the Cabernet Franc is very good but unfortunately, at $95, it is out of my price range.
