Beach Returns to Irish Island

An Irish beach that disappeared more than 30 years ago has returned to an island off the County Mayo coast. The sandy beach at Dooagh Bay washed away in 1984, leaving just pebbles and stones. Last month strong north winds from the Atlantic deposited sand back onto its former home almost overnight.
