Apple Cafes That Never Became A Reality

In 1996, Apple announced plans to open a global chain of cafes featuring health-conscious food (served up via a high-tech ordering system), video conferencing with neighboring diners, and on-demand access of movies and music videos. Unfortunately Apple suffered a severe financial crisis that year and had to put their cybercafe plans on hold.

Before the deal went south would be partner Landmark Entertainment Group had commissioned artists renderings of the proposed first Apple Cafe so we can see what a franchise might have looked like.
