Miss Friday The Typist

This battery-operated 1950s Japanese novelty was made by Nomura Toys Ltd. “Miss Friday the Typist” sits at a tinplate desk. She moves her head from keyboard to her notes and back while her fingers pound away at the keyboard and you hear the clacking of keys and the sound of a bell signalling the carriage return.
