Feral Cats Work As Exterminators

Farmers have always used barn cats for rodent control. Now New York City's Javits Center  is following suit. The Manhattan convention center ‘employs’ a team of four feral cats to keep the rats away at the facility’s loading docks. The program helps the cats stay healthy and find new homes away from dangerous construction sites and they are less expensive than exterminators, working only for their food.
