From Leeds To London

British photographer Peter Mitchell's website for his monograph, Strangely Familiar, features formal portraits of the people of Yorkshire and London and their places of work. Mitchell worked as a truck driver in Leeds in the 1970s, photographing the city during his rounds.

In the winter of 1975, Mr Gower of Cabin Cafe on Upper Wortley Road,
Leeds, had just quit engineering and was going to do up this place.
