Shell We Move?

There’s a housing in Japan among a large community of house hunters and that includes hermit crabs, “professional house hunters” who are constantly outgrowing and replacing their shells. Suumo, a real estate company and marine biologists have come up with artificial shells as new homes for the hermit crabs. They are light, comfortable and environmentally friendly. Made from potato starch they have zero impact on the environment.

Now the crabs no longer have to live in trash.
