The Brim Silo Art Project

Brisbane artist Guido van Helten's Brim Silo project was painted on six 30 metre high decommissioned grain silos in the tiny town of Brim in the Wimmera region of Victoria. It helped to uncover social issues affecting small regional towns of Australia. These include population decline due to the use of new farming technology and heavy drought conditions resulting in an uncertain future for many isolated farming towns located in rural areas of Australia.
