Feline Woodblock Prints From The Edo Period



I am in love with these ukiyo-e woodblock prints from “Life of Cats: Selections from the Hiraki Ukiyo-e Collection,” last year's show at New York’s Japan Society.  They display the ways the feline form and essence inspired the artists of the Edo Period (1615-1868)
