Sam Javanrouh took this photo on July 31st, 2007 and posted it on his previous blog, ddoi, under the title Doorway Sleeper. More than eight years after the photo was posted, he received an email from the man’s daughter, asking to use the image on Facebook. Her dad suffered from bipolar disorder and lived on the streets for many years.
Sam has posted her touching tribute alongside the photo.
