The Dodge LaFemme

I think I'd look pretty in pink - anyone know where I can find one of these beauties?



Between 1955 and 1956, Dodge produced the Dodge LaFemme, the first car specifically marketed to women, which came in pink exterior, complete with a pink umbrella, a pink handbag and lipstick holder, among other sassy accessories. Behind the drivers seat was a compartment that contained a raincoat, rain bonnet and umbrella that matched the rosebud interior fabric.

  1. I think is was around 1967, every Ford dealer got one hot pink Mustang. It was always a prominent display till it sold.

    Nope, I checked, '65, '67, '68, '69, and '72. The '65 and '72, were Playboy Pink.
