The Forgotten Corner of London Where Bob Dylan Made First Music Video

Fifty years ago this summer, Bob Dylan filmed the first ever music video here

Fifty years ago this summer, Bob Dylan stood at the foot of Savoy Steps on a drab little cul-de-sac and filmed what is now regarded as the first ever music video. It is instantly recognisable as the location where a cultural earthquake occurred.  The two-minute vignette which acts as a visual accompaniment to his totemic track Subterranean Homesick Blues was shot by director D. A. Pennebaker  as part of his documentary Don't Look Back.
