Artist Turns Weapons Into Tools For Spreading Serenity

Mexican Artist Pedro Reyes melted down guns and turned them into shovels to plant trees because he wanted to show “how an agent of death can become an agent of life.”

He also created a set of 50 fully functioning musical instruments including a flute,
guitar and drum kit fabricated out of a variety of firearms such as revolvers, shot-guns, machine guns. The video below shows the instruments creating music instead of violence.
