William Morris
The Bank of England has released a full short list of British artists that are currently being considered to feature on the face of the new £20 bank note. 29,701 visual artists were submitted for consideration by the British public, but that figure has now been whittled down to a total of 592, some familiar, others not so much. Here is a link to the short list.
If it were up to me I would choose William Morris or William Blake.
