The War Of The Pencils

An interesting Wall Street Journal article tells the story of a centuries old corporate rivalry in the dog-eat-dog world of pencil making. Over the years Nuremberg, Germany companies Staedtler Mars GmbH and rival Faber-Castell AG have fought for pencil supremacy. They have battled over everything, from which company is oldest to children's coloring and retirees' hobby crafts.
