Freedom Cove Float House

BC artists Catherine King and Wayne Adams live in Clayoquot Sound on Freedom Cove, a colourful self sustaining float-home and garden, only accessible by boat. It includes about twelve platforms, supporting a number of wooden structures, living spaces, and greenhouses—all interconnected through a wooden pathway system. The electricity is mostly supplied through solar panels and photovoltaic energy generators. Freedom Cove has been sustaining itself for the last 20 years.
