In September, Vancouver council adopted new amendments to its building code, effective next March, that, among other things, will require lever handles on all doors and lever faucets in all new housing construction.

    I think that when I'm ready to admit that my aged hands require a 'lever' versus a 'doorknob'...that would be my choice.
    Until such time...I don't like levers...I much prefer the feel (and look) of a doorknob...and so many aesthetically pleasing ones to enjoy in the meantime.
