Seeing the Early-Morning Paris That Atget Photographed

I've blogged about Eugene Atget before here and here. He was a French photographer who took thousands pictures of the streets of Paris capturing them for posterity. I've seen many of his photos in exhibits, own books of them and have walked a lot of the streets he photographed. Many of these locations have changed very little over the past century except for the addition of automobiles.

    I was disappointed that the video had only one or two comparison shots of Atget's original work, and the modern day Paris.

    The earlier post referring to Christopher Rauschenberg and his retakes of Atget was far more interesting.
